Pat, small world indeed!
I lived in Michigan my whole life until last year (28 years), and there are two things I miss about Michigan: the wine, and the season of fall. Neither really exist down here.

Amazing! I grew up around Pontiac, MI. Married a man from Belding, MI outside of Grand Rapids. Small world. Do you miss Michigan and how long have you been gone?

Pat, I grew up in Ortonville, MI, but lived in East Lansing for almost 10 years, and in Grand Rapids for several years. I worked in Detroit for several years as well (in the Ren Cen).

Where in Michigan are you from? I grew up on the east side of the state. Lived a while near Pensacola too. There just isn't any comparison. The great lakes are nice, but there isn't the feel of paradise there. Especially in the winter. :-)
